The Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) is responsible for assessing dietetics qualifications for recognition in Australia, and for migration purposes. The national office is based in the ACT, however there are branches in each state and territory.

NB. In Australia, all dietitians are considered to be nutritionists however, owing to training and qualification differences, not all nutritionists are considered dietitians.
Australian Education International (AEI), through the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR), provides official information and advice on the comparability of overseas education qualifications with Australian qualifications. This aims to help overseas qualified people work and study in Australia.
