Living in New South Wales

New South Wales is situated in the east of Australia, and has a population of around seven million people, with four million living in and around the Sydney area.

Sydney is probably the most famous Australian city, with its colonial history, the picturesque harbour, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the distinctive Opera House, all panoramically displayed when looking onto the bay from Circular Quay.

Sydney has a public transport system that includes ferries to towns and city suburbs around Port Jackson, and these are a great way to see where the rich and famous live along Sydney’s north shore.

In terms of weather, the southern part of the state can be described as temperate, and a few degrees warmer than Victoria, however the further north you travel, the more it starts to feel like a bio-pattern – wet seasons and dry seasons [Wikipedia:New South Wales(Australia)].

This section provides information about accommodation, transport, and health care; that can assist with living in New South Wales.
