Registration with a Physiotherapy Registration Board is compulsory in the Australian Capital Territory.
In order for overseas-qualified physiotherapists to be registered they are required to undergo examination procedures established by the Australian Physiotherapy Council (APC).
The Board is a statutory body that registers suitably qualified physiotherapists who are wanting to practice in the territory.
