Registration, licensing and accreditation of Diagnostic Radiographers/Medical Imaging Technologists and Radiation Therapists, are areas determined by individual states and territories in Australia.
The Medical Radiation Technologists Board of Queensland is the body responsible for the registration of Medical Imaging Technologists, Radiation Therapists and Nuclear Medicine Technologists in Queensland. Before a person in Queensland may practice in one of the above professions, they must first register with the Board.
