Speech Pathology Australia is recognised as the national professional body for speech pathologists in Australia.
There is no legal requirement to have a license or be registered as a Speech Pathologist in Tasmania. However, most employers would require applicants to, at the least, be eligible for current membership with Speech Pathology Australia, to practice in the state.
